Ty Vallelunga

Ty Mason Vallelunga, a devoted husband, hardworking professional, and true cowboy at heart, passed away March 4th 2025.

Ty dedicated over 40 years of his life to Boeing while simultaneously earning his master’s degree and obtaining his realtor’s license, an achievement that reflected his determination and work ethic. Beyond his career, Ty’s passions lay in the simple yet profound joys of life: his love for horses, tractors, and the cowboy way of living.

He was a man with a servant’s heart, always giving without expecting anything in return. His kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, and he was like a father to Alexis Evans. He also had an amazing sense of humor that could brighten any room, bringing joy and laughter to those around him.

Ty is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Olivia Vallelunga; his mother, Cathy Montrose; his sisters, Rachel Vallelunga and Claudia Vallelunga; his daughter, Alexis Evans; his son-in-law, Matthew Evans; and his cherished grandsons, Tyler Evans and Grayson Evans. He also leaves behind his nephew’s and niece, Charles Schimmel, Hap Vallelunga, Brian Vallelunga, and Diana Vallelunga.

Ty’s legacy of hard work, selflessness, and unwavering kindness will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 26th, at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 27th, at 10:00 AM at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home, followed by a light lunch. The burial will be held at Eden Memorial Park at 3:00 PM.
