Timothy James Miller, 63, of Simi Valley, CA., passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021.
Tim was born in Evergreen Park, IL. to Ken and Dolores Miller. He grew up in Simi Valley with his six siblings. As a teen, he loved spending his time playing sports, fishing and being outdoors. He coached his younger brothers in baseball and also coached basketball. He graduated from Simi Valley High School in 1975 and not long after found his passion in setting tile and stonebending.
To know Tim, was to know that there was nothing more important to him then his son, Tyler. Tyler was his world and he could not of been more proud of him and his accomplishments. Being a kind and dependable father was of the utmost importance to Tim and he certainly did not disappoint when it came to wholeheartedly loving his family. Tim would spend countless hours with Tyler and his nieces/nephews playing basketball in the driveway. Teaching, coaching and always a listening ear with no judgment. Tim enjoyed polishing stones and hand crafting unique gifts for his loved ones. In later years, he became a proud father in-law and Grandpa. He cherished his three grandchildren and showered them with gifts, candy, and love. He adored being around family whether work or play. His love ran deep, and he will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Tim is survived by his son Tyler Miller (Haley), his grandchildren, Allie, Elle and John Miller. His siblings, Ken Miller II (Lynn), Jackie Hubbard, Nick Miller (Chris), Craig Miller (Terri), Michelle Brooks (David), Bob Miller, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in passing by his Father, Ken Miller, Mother, Dolores Miller and nephew Chad Hubbard. The funeral service will be held at Assumption Cemetery in the Mausoleum on Friday, April, 9th at 10am. We welcome all that knew and loved Tim.
