Thomas Francis King Jr., a loving father, devoted grandfather, and cherished member of his community, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on December 8, 2024, in Oxnard, California.

Born on September 16, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Thomas lived a life of dedication and service. A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he served his country with honor for 24 years, retiring as, Captain, and a decorated serviceman. Known for his kind heart, positive spirit, and a unique sense of humor, Thomas brought joy to all who knew him.

Thomas was predeceased by his beloved wife, Josephine King. He is survived by his children, Tom, Pat, Tim, and Marianne; his siblings, Jayne and John; and his grandchildren, Chelsea, Hayley, Zackary, Crysten, Savannah, and Noah.

A funeral service will be held on December 20th at 10:00 AM at Saint Peter Claver Church in Simi Valley, California. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Our Pack Animal Refuge - https://ourpackanimalrefuge.com
