Our beloved Theresita was born in El Salvador on December 10, 1927, and was one of eleven siblings to Josefina and Encarnación. Josefina was from El Salvador and Encarnación had immigrated from Spain with his family when he was a young boy. Theresa worked on her family’s farm raising cattle where she became passionate about horses as well as worked on her family’s coffee plantation which was one of the largest coffee producers in the region.
In 1948, Theresa married Miguel Angel Molina, and together they had two daughters: Alicia and Martha. Sadly, Miguel passed away in 1962, and Theresa was left to support her family by herself. She came to the United States in 1966 seeking a better life for herself and her two daughters. Theresa was a very hard worker, and cared for her family immensely. She had a passion for cooking and gardening and loved to host family gatherings for Christmas and Thanksgiving in her Simi Valley home. Above all, she enjoyed being surrounded by her family, for whom she cared very much. She was a very kind woman to everyone and always maintained a positive outlook.
She is survived by her two daughters, Alicia and Martha; three grandchildren, Lara, Ryan and Jarred; two great-grandchildren Victor and Charlotte; and many other members of her extended family who will miss her love and her laughter. Theresa passed away surrounded by her family on February 16, 2024.
