Obituary:
Tamela "Tammy" Mazias, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on May 2, 2024, in Simi Valley, California. She was born on September 28, 1952, in Sioux City, Iowa. Tammy touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.
Tammy is survived by her loving mother Merrilyn Lambert, devoted sister Amy Lambert, caring brother-in-law Tim McLellan, and cherished children Arlen Traster and Amanda Gennette. She will be deeply missed by her son Arlen's family - daughter-in-law Katherine and granddaughters Isabella and Kaylen Traster; as well as her daughter Amanda's family - son-in-law James, granddaughter Brynley and grandson Lincoln Gennette.
She was preceded in death by her father Neil Lambert and husband Curt Mazias but reunited with them in eternal peace.
Tammy's kind spirit extended beyond human relationships; she adored her pet Scout who brought her immense joy and comfort.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Tammy's life will be held on May 28, 2024, at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home located at 2636 Sycamore Drive, Simi Valley, CA 93065. The service will commence at 11:00 AM to honor a life that was lived with love and grace.
Tammy Mazias will forever be remembered for her gentle soul, selfless nature, and the unconditional love she bestowed upon all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the honor of being a part of her life.
