Susan Elizabeth Whitlock

It is with joyous hearts that we celebrate the life of Susan Elizabeth Whitlock, affectionately known as Suzi, who left us on March 23, 2025. Born on April 13, 1953, Suzi's presence in our lives will always be cherished and remembered.

For over 40 years, Suzi made remarkable contributions as a leasing department manager at Galpin Ford. Her tenacity and dedication to her career showcased her incredible work ethic, but even more compelling was how she brought warmth and kindness to everyone she encountered. Every year for Christmas, Suzi and her son Jeb would partner with Galpin and spend countless hours collecting toys for donation to the Fred Jordan Mission to give to the less fortunate. Known to be a straight shooter with a great sense of humor, she had a unique way of lighting up any room with her laughter and genuine caring spirit.

Suzi had an adventurous soul, and her fond memories of camping at the beach bring smiles to those who had the pleasure of sharing those experiences with her. Whether she was exploring the sandy shores or delving into imaginative worlds at Disneyland, her joy for life radiated brightly. An avid dog lover, she found immense happiness in the company of her furry friends.

In her leisure time, Suzi found delight in a variety of hobbies. She loved piecing together Legos and puzzles, testing her luck with lotto scratchers, and indulging in the whimsical world of trashy romance novels. Each of these pastimes reflected her vibrant personality and her ability to find joy in the little things.

Above all, Suzi's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her children – Jeb and David. As a devoted mother, she cherished every moment spent nurturing and guiding them, instilling in them the values of love and laughter that defined her life.

Suzi leaves behind her loving husband, John, who shared countless sweet memories by her side. She will also be dearly remembered by her children, Jeb and David, along with her wonderful daughter-in-law, Sam. Her cherished siblings, Jo Ann, Natalie, and Pete, will carry her spirit forward, ensuring her legacy lives on in their hearts.

As we remember Susan Elizabeth Whitlock, let us celebrate the laughter, love, and warmth she infused into our lives. Though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit, humor, and ardent love for family will forever remain with us. Here's to Suzi, a remarkable woman who found beauty in both life’s grand adventures and its simplest moments.
