Stephen Davis Missildine, 37, was born in Austin Texas on May 22 1985. He passed away in his sleep on July 19, 2022, at his home in Simi Valley, California.
Stephen (Steve) was born with a physical handicap called arthrogryposis which limited the joint movement in his arms and legs. From a very young age, he underwent several surgeries and procedures to aid his movement and mobility. He was no stranger to the operating room, but he never let that dampen his spirits or get in the way of what he wanted to do. If he wanted something, you can rest assured that he would find his own way to achieve it.
As a young adult, he became a Boy Scout of America, ultimately achieving the highest rank of Eagle Scout. He studied CAD design at Moorpark College, eventually becoming an industrial designer.
His hobbies included various card and video games, television shows, and movies. He was well-known and respected in each of his communities.
Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Steve knows that he is a testament to accomplishing your goals no matter the adversity. Stephen is survived by father Ronald Earl Missildine and brother John Marc Missildine.
