Stella M Tepezano-Crandall,88,was born on December 21, 1929 in Simi Valley, CA. and laid to rest on February 15, 2018. She was known by many name, sister, aunt, mom, but for most part she was known as “Grandma”. She spent most of her days tending to her plants, cooking deliscious meals especially for the holidays with her yummy green Jello and famous sparkling punch, reading a book or ordering from her magazines, having a drink of wine watching her “Lifetime” dramas on television.
She was one of 10 children born to Pedro and Angela Tepezano. She leaves behind her brothers Ben, Plasido, Fred, Ralph and her sister Margie (Porterfield). Stella was the former wife of Warren Crandall. They had four children Melody (Dakin), Scott, Chris (Mason) and Linda(Catuogno). She was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
To all of us she was more than just a person or Grandma. She gave her family and anyone that knew her a sense of strength and above all tough love. There is no one that compares to her because she was one of a kind and unique. She is truly one of God’s angels. We will carry her memory in our hearts.
The Crandall and Tepezano family will say their last goodbyes to Stella and wish her a safe journey home with a Rosary at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home on Monday, February 26, 2018 at 2636 Sycamore Dr. Simi Valley CA. Viewing will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be at St. Rose of Lima Church, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with reception to follow.
