Sharon Myers

Sharon Faye Van Hofwegen Myers, 69, of Simi Valley, passed away on February 13, 2016 at her home in Simi Valley. Sharon was born in Artesia, California on November 20, 1946 to Warren and Joyce Van Hofwegen. A Ventura County resident for 54 years, Sharon worked as a Field Compliance Coordinator for State Farm Insurance for 30 years. Sharon was a member of the Kiwanis and an active member of the Simi Valley Unified Methodist Church and enjoyed to travel as well as wine tasting. She is survived by her mother, Joyce Van Hofwegen; husband, Phillip Myers; sister, Patricia Holt; son, Brett Myers; grandchildren, Jake, Josh, Tyler, Holly, and Rikka. Sharon is preceded in death by her father, Warren Van Hofwegen;daughter, Pamela Myers-Tignac and brother, Wesley Van Hofwegen. Services will be held at Simi Valley United Methodist Church 2394 Erringer Rd. in Simi Valley on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. with burial services to follow at El Rancho Simi Valley Cemetery 1461 Thompson Lane.
