Our Papa sadly passed away on August 16th,2022 at the age of 88 years old. Rudy was born Rodlfo Sanchez Renteria on August 3rd,1934 in Anthony, New Mexico to Baldamero Renteria and Carmen Sanchez Renteria. The family first moved to East Los Angeles, Ca then eventually settled down in Simi Valley, California were Rudy spent most of his life. Rudy raised his family in Simi Valley from 1954-1988. When he retired from General Motors Company in 1988, He and his wife Vera moved to Paso Robles, CA where he spent the remaining years of his life.
Rudy was the most kind and generous man. He always put his family first and foremost. He was the most loving and caring Husband, Son, Brother, Brother-in-law, Cousin, Uncle, Godfather, Father, Grandfather, and Great- Grandfather.
Rudy is survived by His brothers Raymond Renteria, Greg Renteria; his sister’s Carmen Escalante and Lupe Anguino. His three children Rudy R. Renteria, Susan L. Renteria, and Barbara J Renteria. Rudy’s eight grandchildren Michael Ruiz, Adriana Bell, Mitchell Bell, Brandon Renteria, Ashley O’Donnell, Amanda Long, Travis Renteria and Nelson Long. He also had eight beloved great-grandchildren Quentin Kalar, Ava Long, Landon Ruiz, Sloane O’Donnell, Kenton Long, Trent Renteria, Reagan O’Donnell and Kennedy Renteria.
