It is with great sadness to announce the passing of our beloved mother/grandmother Rosa Y. Moscoso and wife of Guillermo Enriquez on Monday September 25, 2023, after battling for her life with various health issues for the last six years; all of which she fought against until her last breath. She was known as an extraordinarily strong, charismatic, funny, sweet, loving, caring and independent woman. During her healthy years she was a very hardworking woman who always prioritized her children over anything, she never hesitated to help those in need even if she was struggling herself. She always had something random to say, making everyone around her smile. She was a woman of strong character, very straightforward, a lie could not get past her because she’d read your person on the spot. She loved traveling to her native country Guatemala, to enjoy the sceneries, the food and spend some quality time with her close family members and friends. She was an amazing cook and had very tasty recipes. One of the dishes she would make even during the time she was ill were tamales with cheese and jalapeños. She loved shopping for shoes, clothes, and perfumes. She will always be remembered as a warrior to heart who never gave up until her last breath. She will be dearly missed by her surviving husband, daughters, son, and grandchildren.
A poem to our mother:
Our mother gave us the world, put it right at our feet and with her at our side, there was nothing we could not beat. Our Mother was a woman who taught us to never lose sight, though times may seem helpless she taught us how to fight. She has shown us how, through times of sorrow, to look to the future and new days of tomorrow. Although times may be hard and all we feel is pain, remember this too shall pass. It is with heavy hearts and tears in our eyes that we lay her down to rest and say our goodbyes.
