Robert Anthony “Bobby” Manzi, 31, of Simi valley, Passed away on July 7, 2015 in Thousand Oaks, California. He was born on May 18, 1984 in Thousand Oaks, California. He was a graduate of Simi Valley High School, class of 2002. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from DeVry University in 2007. As a computer specialist, he created websites and repaired computers for several companies. Bobby was born into a multicultural home. His Italian and Mexican American heritage embraced strong family values. He was the kind of person that would walk into a room of strangers and leave with many new friends. He embraced people for who they were, never judging and always bringing out the best in everyone he met. Bobby was a joker, who never lost out on a good laugh, especially when it was at his expense. He was a master in persuading his parents to see things his way. He was organized, extremely detailed and always dressed for success. Bobby was a daredevil snowboarder, motorcycle rider, off roader and skateboarder. He loved baseball, football, bowling, UFC and camping with his family. His karaoke and D.J. talents were second to none. Bobby was a free spirit who lived life on the edge. He will be sorely missed by his wolf pack; Adam, Jared, Taylor, Andy, John, and Pat. Bobby is survived by his parents Robert Anthony Sr. and Tila Marie Manzi; his Brother Vince, Sister Kristi and nieces Erika and Kendall; maternal Grandparents: Francisco and Patricia Hernandez; Uncles: Roger, Kenneth, Daniel, Ken, Gary, William, Dale and Glen; Aunts: Lois, Diane, Connie, Linda, Kathy, Laura, and Teresa. Also, several tightly bonded cousins: Gary Jr., Kaitlan, William Jr., Holly, Adam, Elena, James, Kyle, Jacob, Hap, Glen Jr., Frank, Sage, Joseph, Michael and several second cousins. Bobby will be greeted in Heaven by his late Uncle Anthony, Aunt Debra and close friend Billy.
Viewing will be held at Reardon’s Simi Valley Funeral Home; 2636 Sycamore Drive, Simi Valley, CA on Wednesday July 15, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00pm with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. Services will be at Saint Peter Claver Catholic Church; 2380 Stow Street, Simi Valley, CA on Thursday, July 16 at 10:00AM .
Following services, Bobby will be laid to rest beside his paternal grandparents Anthony and Anna Manzi at the Assumption Cemetery in Simi Valley.
