Ricky Smalling

Ricky “Rick” Lee Smalling. Age 53 of Simi Valley, California passed away peacefully on March 4th.
Rick was born on July 20th, 1967 in Panorama City, California to Betty and Timothy Smalling. Rick lived in Ventura County for 49 years, where he attended Simi Valley High School and went on to graduate from Moorpark Community College.
A kind and caring man, Rick dedicated his life to his family and his faith as a Christian. Rick was a Patriotic man that proudly served our country United States Navy and committed his life as a machinist. When Rick wasn’t working, he enjoyed his classic cars, vintage bicycles, photography and spending time with family and friends.
Rick is survived by his father Timothy Smalling, sisters; Bonnie Bennett, Cheryl Sloman, Anita Berro, Brother-in-laws; David Berro, Dana Canfield and Paul Sloman, Nieces Kayla Bennett, Kammi Smith, Keri Romo, Kylie Sloman, Nephews; Austin Smith and Chayce Berro.
Rick is preceded in death by his mother Betty Smalling.
Celebraton of life will be held on Friday, April 9th at 11:00 AM at NewHeart Church. 4200 Township Ave. Simi Valley, Ca 93063
