Peter Di Primo

Pete Di Primo, 76, of Green Valley, AZ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2018 after a hard fought battle with Cancer. He was born in Hoboken, NJ to Salvatore and Josephine (Capizzi) Di Primo. He graduated in 1979 from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. In 1983, Pete moved to California to continue his career with AT&T. After almost 40 years of service with AT&T, he contracted with ABM Engineering, retired in 2010, and moved to Arizona in 2011.
Pete lived an amazing, unforgettable life. He was a loving, devoted father, brother, partner, cousin and friend, loved by all. Pete touched the hearts of so many. He was a compassionate man who lit up the room with his laughter. Pete was a funny guy and loved to joke. His stories and memories will never be forgotten.
Pete is survived by his younger sister Elizabeth (Di Primo) Sarno and his nieces Mary Jo and Janine, his daughter Darlene and husband Alfredo Sanchez, son Peter and wife Carrie with step-grandson Brett, partner of 17 years Elly Valencia with daughter Brandy Valencia, granddogs Oreo and Forest, numerous cousins and loving friends that he considered family.
There will be a viewing and visitation on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The City of Hope or St. Jude charity.
