Pat (Patsy Ann) Dingsdale arrived in Tennessee on December 17th, 1940 and passed away peacefully on June 1st 2024, doing what she loved the most -- enjoying the adventure, while sitting at her campsite with friends.. Pat always loved traveling and seeing new places, and enjoying a campfire with friends and family brought a twinkle to her eye. Pat had a true heart of gold. She volunteered much of her time and energy to PTA, and working hard to give a voice for all children. It was during this time that she met the true love of her life. After long conversations and joyous moments together, they quickly bonded together in heart & soul.
A new family emerged as they traveled together, exploring and building a life together. Her true love left her early in the relationship from Alzheimer’s, but Pat never left the bedside, loyal and loving till the very end. Many reminders of this love, sprinkled around her as she continued traveling for them both.
Pat was a mom of 4 kids by two marriages… She was a strong, stoic, gallant, graceful, compassionate, loving wife, mother, and humble leader to those who needed her. So, for Pat, as you reflect on shared moments, I hope you remember to dance as she did, keeping that sparkle in your step and a twinkle in your eye, regardless of life’s challenges. Let us take comfort that Pat is back with her one true love, and celebrating with us as we share the love and special bond we each had with her. So, like Pat, let the adventures continue regardless of events that arise, and never forget to dance the good dance. Although Pat may have left countless people behind, we know she waits patiently with anticipation to share in our adventures when we arrive.
Pat Dingsdale is survived by: Her sister Charlotte de Rosset and a large family, two surviving sons Victor Salas and Scott Salas. Her loving and joyful grandchildren Nicholas, Vincent, and Quinn, and her dear daughter, Kimberly Dingsdale. Her eldest son, Tomas Dingsdale, predeceased her, but I know they are in joyful reunion. To a woman of gallantry & the spark of life, regardless of moments of pain…
Pat was a life time participant and prior PTA president for the State of California.
