On May 4th, 2024, Patricia Erma Rich D’ambra died in Thousand Oaks, California with family by her side. She was 82 years old.
Patricia is survived by Dennis and Kathy D’ambra, Robert D’ambra, Lynda Rainey and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; Milton Reichenthal, her mother; Pearl Reichenthal, her husband; James D’ambra and her son; Dean D’ambra.
Pat was born on July 19, 1941 in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from North Hollywood High School, which is where she met the love of her life, Jim D’ambra.
Pat married Jim in North Hollywood, California in 1964. They moved into their first place together in an apartment on Klump Street in North Hollywood. From there, they moved to Granada Hills. Soon after that, they moved to Simi Valley where they spent most of their life together. They welcomed their son, Dean Anthony, in 1969.
Pat was a realtor in Simi Valley at Century 21 for several years. She was a wonderful cook and learned many family recipes from Jim’s family. She loved to cook. Pat was always cheery and had a smile that everyone she has come across remembers. She spent a lot of her time volunteering at local senior centers and volunteered through the Conejo Senior Volunteer Program in recent years. Pat loved to travel with her family. She and Jim hosted several foreign exchange students over the years. Pat had a big heart and genuinely loved to help everyone around her. She had a strong spirit and never gave up when things got tough. Pat is leaving a legacy to be admired and she will always be held in high regard by everyone who knew and loved her.
A memorial service for Pat is scheduled for May 22, 2024 at 10:00am at Reardon Mortuary in Simi Valley, 2636 Sycamore Dr.
It will be immediately followed by a graveside ceremony at Assumption Cemetery, 1380 Fitzgerald Rd in Simi Valley.
