It is with a heavy heart that I must advise the world that Patty returned to the Heaven from which she was
born. If ever God placed an Angel on this earth to provide us with an example of how to live
and love, it must have been Patty.
Also known as Patty Laubscher, she leaves behind her daughter Jody and son-in-law Kenny, her son Derek,
her step-son Darin and daughter-in-law Christine, and her beloved grandchildren Halie, Ashley , Emma and
Eric, her sister Shirley and brother-in-law Steve, her brother Gregg and sister-in-law Eva and the many nieces and nephews whose company she loved and enjoyed. And me, husband Dave. She was pre-deceased by her sister Sandi, her stepson Ed and stepdaughter Erica.
She was first an employee and then owner of The Best Little Hair House spending nearly thirty-five years at
the same location in Simi Valley. Sha was a Valley Girl and a 1973 graduate of James Monroe High School.
She was a loyal and trusted friend who just happened to have a sharp and wicked sense of humor. This was
no “dumb blond”. In making calls to let friends know of her passing, I was amazed at how many people
responded saying “Oh no, she was so good to me”.
