On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, Norma Haydee Libasci Natelli, loving mother, grandmother and wife, passed away at the age of 76. She was born on May 4, 1946 to Felipa “Maruca” and Antonio Libasci in Chivilcoy, a small town outside Buenos Aires, Argentina. Her family moved to the capitol as a small child and she remained there until adulthood. In 1966, Norma married Juan Carlos Natelli, and during the same year immigrated to the United States (Hollywood, California).
Although she missed her parents and sister immensely, she devoted herself to her children and grandchildren and made countless new friends throughout the next five decades. She is survived by her husband, Juan Carlos Natelli, her three children and spouses - Michelle and Sarkis Merjanian (daughter and son-in-law), Jennifer and Phillip Fonseca (daughter and son-in-law) and Alex and Sara Natelli (son and daughter-in-law) and her five grandchildren - Evan Churilov, Phillip Jr Fonseca, Emma Churilov, Samantha Merjanian and Everett Merjanian. She is also survived by her sister Marta Libasci and countless relatives and friends living in the United States and Argentina.
Norma loved to be of service to others and she devoted her time to volunteering by serving meals at the local Senior Center in Simi Valley. When she wasn’t making new friends, she was cooking for her neighbors and family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home, 2636 Sycamore Dr, Simi Valley, CA 93065.
