Nathan R. Venneman, affectionately known as Nate, passed away on January 23, 2025, at the Simi Adventist Hospital, after a courageous battle with stomach cancer, which he had been managing with strength and determination. Sadly, pneumonia intervened and took him from us. Born in New Mexico on December 1, 1953, Nathan lived a life filled with faith, integrity, and service.
A dedicated electrician for much of his career, Nathan exemplified the qualities of hard work and responsibility, earning the respect of his colleagues and friends. He served his country honorably in the Air Force, an experience that shaped his character and values.
Nathan was a man of simple pleasures, finding joy in the everyday moments of life. His passion for gardening was well known, often sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends. He loved hiking, relishing the beauty of nature and the tranquility it provided. Above all, Nathan was deeply committed to his faith. He lived by the words of God in the Bible, embracing his spiritual journey wholeheartedly.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Lee Venneman, and their cherished daughter, Rachael Ann. Nathan's extended family includes Judy and Len Cannatelli and their children and grandchildren, Meridith Blackburn and her child and grandchildren, and Gordon Venneman with his children. Also, the children of his siblings and their families will remember Nathan with love.
Nathan’s contributions extended beyond his family; he actively participated in volunteer services, providing prayer support and food for those in need through his church. His faith community, along with many friends, mourns his loss while celebrating the impact he had on their lives.
Nathan R. Venneman will be remembered for his unwavering integrity, profound love for God, and devotion to his family. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.
