Nancy Young

Nancy peacefully passed away on Thursday, October 26, while sleeping. Her husband was by her side. She was born February 19, 1940 in Los Angeles and lived in Montebello, CA. She attended Concordia High School in Oakland, CA, and graduated in 1958. She earned her B.A. at Concordia University, Chicago, Ill. She was a Lutheran school teacher from 1961 until 2003. She was the founding principal of Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Simi Valley, CA. She was gifted in music, playing the organ and piano, directing school musicals, and children's choirs.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Alvin, her children: Steve and Victoria Young, Jeff and Tammy Young, Carie and Steve Hayden. She has six grandchildren: Jordan, Brady and Miranda Young; Jackson Young; Ellie and Emma Hayden. She was also survived by one brother, Richard Jeske (Evan).
