Maurice E. Kincaid, 90, a 62 year resident of Moorpark, went home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2017, at Los Robles Hospital.
Maurice was born on January 12, 1926, to Charles E. and Edna Ollie (Welty) Kincaid in Denver, CO. Maurice served in the Army in World War II. He was married to Dolores J. Stewart in 1947 for 56 years when Dolores passed away in 2003.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Mother, sister Eloise (Kincaid) Young, brother Robert E. Kincaid, niece/daughter Connie (Stewart) Meyer.
Maurice (Morey) retired from Rocketdyne - Rockwell (Boeing) in 1993. During his work career he held many different occupations working with his Father as a paint contractor; he was a Pilot, electronics propulsion system technician-instrumentation and managing Dinah’s Fried Chicken Ventura.
His hobbies were fishing, hunting, leather working, working on his house and gardening.
He loved God, Family and a proud American.
Maurice is survived by nieces/daughters Donna Stewart of Oak Park, CA, Carolyn (Stewart) Connors (Husband John of Waseca, MN), Connie’s (Husband Tim Meyer) and Nephew/son Gary Stewart of Waseca, MN. Nephews, two grandnieces-daughters Leslie (Meyer) Bethke & husband Sam, Lauren (Meyer) Torke husband Jake, two grandnephews-sons James Connors wife Stacy, Ryan Connors wife Kristy. Two great grandnieces and one great grandnephew.
