Matthew Lussier

“Matthew Collins Lussier, 69, of Simi Valley, passed away on July 20, 2023 in his sleep after battling pancreatic cancer.
Matthew was born on June 9, 1954 to Wilfred Leo Lussier and Corrine Collins in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. After Matthew graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1973, he went on to study physics at University of Massachusetts Lowell, then completed a Master’s in Engineering at MIT.
After graduating, he started his first job at Hughes Aircraft as an aerospace engineer, launching a 40-year career in aviation.
Matthew was predeceased by father Wilfred Lussier, mother Corrine Collins, and sister Lisa Lussier. He is survived by daughter Marissa Ryder with two grandchildren Conner and Logan, and son Justin Lussier with grandchild Jake.”
