Manuel Marin

Manuel Zuniga Marin, 80, of Simi Valley, passed away on April 15, 2016 at home with his family and friends by his side. Manuel was born on August 3, 1935 in Oxnard, California to Paul and Dolores Marin. Manuel was a county resident for 80 years. He retired from Rockwell International in 1988. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing pool and spending time with his Grandchildren. Manuel is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Marin;children,Barbara Acosta and husband Manuel Acosta;son Manuel Marin Jr. and wife Lisa;Grandchildren, Vanessa, Ryan, Sarah and Loren. There will be a Catholic Funeral Mass on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima with interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Simi Valley. The Marin Family would like to thank Florence Home Health Care, Simi Adventist Hospital, Adventist Health Hospice services and all of those who cared for him during his illness.
