Beloved Mama Luly: Mother, grandmother, great grandmother, teacher, poet, but always Mama Luly. She was a generous, loving person, always willing to give of herself to others. What she loved the most and gave her solace was her faith, Church, and family.
She was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where she grew up and also lived her early years of marriage. Luly migrated to the United States in 1959 with four little girls, where Roberto, her husband, awaited their arrival. They settled in California where the last and longest chapter of her life began. Her two youngest sons were born soon after, and what was originally started as a five-year plan became a lifetime.
Luly is preceded in death by her two daughters, Mariasol Alejandra (at birth), Lorelei Carmen, and her husband Roberto
She is survived by five children, eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one on the way.
