Lilibeth Credo- Foster, 60, of Thousand Oaks, CA passed away on March 26, 2021 at UCLA Medical Center, 10 days after brain surgery. Lilibeth, fondly called “Little” by her Mother and “Kalbet” by her siblings, cousins and friends, was born on July 23, 1960 in Naga City, Philippines to Cayetano De Vera Credo and Luzvismin Enciso Credo.
After the death of her father in 1984, at a young age, she assumed the daunting responsibility of looking after her younger siblings, providing for their needs and education. Lilibeth worked as a Librarian in both public and private school libraries in Naga City.
She came to America with hopes of a better future and opportunity for her and her family in the Philippines. She was a loving, compassionate and selfless sister, daughter, wife and mother.
Lilibeth and her husband, Jon were blessed with twin sons, Jeremy and Jericho. She showered her sons with unconditional love and endearingly called them “Dudoys”. Lilibeth was a dedicated licensed vocational nurse, who juggled multiple jobs. Despite her busy schedule, she always made sure that she was able to go to her boys’ football games and cook their favorite homemade Filipino dishes. Her ultimate dream was for her boys to finish college and to grow up as successful and well-rounded gentlemen. Her life was a demonstration of true love to her family, all deeds with very few words.
She is survived by her husband Jon, and their twin sons, Jericho and Jeremy. Her mother, Luzvismin, Her siblings: Marife, Celerino, Edgar, Mary France, Maria Meriam, Jose, Noel, Rommel Erwin, Maria Cristina, Roy Fernan, Bobby and all her nephews and nieces.
