Katharine Veronica Barnansky
"Ronnie"
12/15/37 - 11/25/20
Born in Irvington, NJ to Cecelia and David Loger. She married in 1963, and subsequently divorced in 1978, John Barnansky, Jr. with whom she lived in Hillside, NJ and had two daughters, Donna and Christine.
In 1986 she moved with Christine and Donna's family to Simi Valley, CA where she lived with Donna's family until her passing.
Ronnie was an insatiable reader and avid game player. She loved puzzles, computer games, crossword puzzles, word searches, and brain teasers. And work. Ronnie loved to work! Most of her career was spent in customer service and sales management. She did love telling people what to do! She mentored many co workers through the years, before it was "a thing" or she even realized she was doing it. Ronnie relished pushing people to believe in themselves and to be the most that they could be.
She leaves behind her daughters and son-in-law: Christine Perry, Donna and Jim Wisniewski, and her five grandchildren: Jimmy Wisniewski, Nicole Wisniewski, David Wisniewski, David Perry, and Katherine Perry.
Mass will be said in her honor at St. Peter Claver in Simi Valley on Saturday Dec 26th and Sunday Dec 27th.
If you wish to honor Ronnie's memory, please consider making a donation in her name to one of her favorite charities, Autism Speaks https://www.autismspeaks.org/
