John Natelli

August 11, 1943 — August 31, 2023

On Thursday, August 31, 2023, John (Juan Carlos) Natelli, loving husband, father of three and grandfather of five passed away at the age of 80. Born to Edmundo and Josefa (Lagunas) Natelli, he grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
After attending the renowned Otto Krause Technical School of Engineering, John decided to travel to the USA with several buddies making stops in several places including Miami, Baltimore, and New York City before driving across country to settle in Hollywood, CA. John married Norma Libasci on July 25, 1966 and eventually relocated to North Hollywood where they raised their son Alex and twin daughters, Jennifer and Michelle.
For over 50-years, John devoted himself as a husband, father and later to being a wonderful grandpa. He is survived by his loving children – Michelle, Jennifer, and Alex, children-in-law – Sarkis, Phillip, and Sara, and grandchildren – Evan, Phillip Jr, Emma, Samantha, and Everett.
John had many passions in life. He loved nature and the outdoors and enjoyed the vistas from the High Sierras (Sequoia National Park) to waters around the Channel Islands. He loved music and the performing arts. He also adored family get-togethers and outings.
It is his wish that we have a private memorial service off the coast of Ventura County so that he might give back to the nature he so enjoyed. The family asks that you consider a donation to one of the following organizations: Sequoia Conservancy Fund www.sequoiaparksconservancy.org, Channel Islands Marine & Wildlife Institute (www.cimwi.org/donate) or your local animal shelter in lieu of sending flowers.
