It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph Cruz Arvizu, known to his beloved grandchildren as “Tata” announces his passing after a brief illness, on June 30,2019, at the age of 89, reuniting with his beloved wife, Jessie Soria Arviso, and son Joseph Cruz Arviso, jr. in the celebration of heavenly host, with all the family members who have all gone before.
Joseph, will be lovingly remembered by his children, John J.Arviso, Steven J Arviso, Anna DeLaCruz, Rosalinda Lemos, Gloria Arviso. Joseph C. Arviso, jr. ( deceased). Manuel S. Soto, Ricardo P. Delgado.
Joseph will be most fondly be remembered by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joseph had the privilege of being close to his grandchildren and some would say that, he was more like a Father for those who had not, had both parents in their lives.
Grandchildren, Manuel, Micheal, Audrey, Jacob, David, Jaime, Sarah, Israel, Abel, Christiana, Rosemary, Rachel, Amber, Floralinda, Summer, Camille, Ava, Marisa.
Joe will also be forever remembered by his numerous great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Joe, was proud to serve his country in the United States Army. Joe was an humanitarian through and through. Joe was an accomplished guitar player and loved his music, he was a family man and always a gentleman. Joseph had a constant smile and loved people. He was known for his sense of humor, and oftentimes, would crack up before the punchline! Joseph worked for L.A. school district, until he retired. He worked for the Simi Valley courthouse for several years, following his retirement .
Joseph was a man of faith, and brought up his family to believe in the savior Jesus Christ, his resurrection, and soon coming back, which is why we invite you to celebrate with us, the graduation of our dear Father, Joseph Cruz “ Joe” Arvizu, into passing from life to “real” life, into the arms of Jesus, for eternity.
Prayer service will be held on:
Monday, July,8,19 Reardon Mortuary, Simi Valley. Visitation 5.p.m. Rosary @ 7.p.m.
Mass will be held on TuesdayJuly, 9,19 at St. Rose of Lima, Simi Valley.
Arrive 9:15. Mass begins at 10:00.
After mass we will be commencing at Assumption Cemetery, in Simi Valley.
