John G. " Jack " Valko passed away very suddenly January 7th, 2016, and he is now with his wife and our wonderful mother, Emmajane, as one with the Lord in Heaven.
Jack was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to John J. and Mary C. Valko on November 26th 1938. He was their second child, having an older sister, Joanne, and a younger brother, Thomas-- whom we lovingly call "Unc".
Jack and Emmajane have three children: Steven, Sharon and John. They have also been blessed with nine grandchildren that they loved and adored with all their hearts, as well as extended family back East.
Jack loved his dogs, Louis & Buddy, whom he considered family. He took great pride in them, and their daily trip to the Dog Park was the highlight of his day. Both Dad and Mom loved all animals...and they would prefer a donation to the ASPCA or a local animal shelter in lieu of flowers.
Dad was a reserved, soft spoken, respectful, intelligent, good man who loved and honored his wife, was a committed and supportive father to his children, and lead by example.
Sadly, Dad missed his wife very much every single day since she passed and wrote about her all the time. At least now they can hold each other again, and we can celebrate his life.
