Jess Burrow

Jess E. Burrow, 95, of Simi Valley, passed away on January 15, 2017 in Simi Valley. Jess was born on May 27, 1921 in Shamrock, Texas to Jess and Golden Burrow. Jess served in the United States Army during World War 2 after words working as the Hospital Director with the Veterans Administration for over 40 years. Jess was a parishioner and book keeper of the Simi Valley Methodist Church and was active with the American Legion, Red Cross and Chamber of Commerce. In addition to being involved in civic activities Jess was exceptionally athletic, excelling in skiing, bowling and having a single digit handicap in golf while a member of the Wood Ranch Country Club.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Lillian ; brother Jerry; son Mark (Terri) and their children Chris and Mike Daily and Matt Burrow; daughter Sharon (Armando) and children Mike and Nick Bolmey.
Jess is preceded in death by his parents and brother Carlos.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, February 4 from 10am-12:00 p.m. with service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home, an online guestbook will be provided at www.reardonsimivalley.com Commital services will be held in Loveland, Colorado at Loveland Burial Park through the care of Viegut Funeral Home.
