James Laguna

James Joseph Laguna Jr., 52 passed away at 8:15 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023 surrounded by his family in Thousand Oaks, California after suffering a head injury due to a fall.
James "Jimmy" was born on February 3, 1971 in the San Fernando Valley. He is survived by his mother, Josie Bowman; father, James Joseph Sr.; stepmother, Patricia Laguna; four sisters, Joanna Laguna, Justine Arko, Kellee Bartha, and Mollie Laguna; brother, Richard Laguna; seven nieces and nephews and six great-nieces.
James loved theatre, the arts, interior design, cooking, gardening, hosting brunches, dinners, and holidays with family and friends. Most of all, he loved traveling and enjoying life with his best friend and husband, Mark Grisez whom he is preceded in death.
