Donald Jenks

Don Jenks was a native of Simi Valley for over 55 years. He served his country and was a veteran. Don worked in the aerospace industry for over 40 years working on the historic Apollo missions as well as the space shuttle program, through his work on the Apollo mission Don was able to meet all of the Apollo atronauts including Neil Armstong. He is survived by his wife Barbara Anne Jenks of 62 years; son Robert W. Jenks;daughter Cheryl Lynne Jenks;grandsons Mark D. Mosely, John P. Mosely, Patrick D. Jenks and his great grandchildren, Kenzie Lynne Mosley and John Patrick Mosley Jr. He was preceded in death by his oldest son Michael David Jenks. He will be missed and loved forever. There will be a visitation on Saturday April 18, 2015 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Reardon SImi Valley Funeral Home with a service beginning at 11:00 a.m.
