Devyn Chesser

Devyn Ashliegh Chesser, 31, passed away on Sunday March 5th, 2023, while swimming in the Pacific Ocean off a beach in Ventura, CA. Devyn was born in Massachusetts, lived in Hawaii, Georgia and California but spent most of her life in Simi Valley, CA. Devyn loved her family, friends and living life to the fullest with a smile that brightened the world around her. She loved being outdoors whether it was the ocean, mountains or the in-between places, she was at home surrounded by nature. Devyn lived a life unafraid, always seeking another adventure, and whose enthusiasm for life influenced those around her.
She is loved and remembered by her mother Helen Chesser of Ettrick, WI, her father Brian (Joanne) Chesser of Lilburn, GA, her sister Nicole (Casey) Greene of Moorpark, CA, her sister Megan Chesser (Miles Kemp) of Atlanta, GA, stepbrothers Scott (Mary) Anglin of Braselton, GA and Andrew Anglin of Atlanta, GA. Devyn also leaves behind her nieces and nephews Presley “PJ”, Blake “Bo”, Dylan of Moorpark, CA and Tanner, Addison of Braselton, GA, her aunt Karen Graves of Ventura, CA, uncle Don Chesser of Dallas, TX and grandma Maxine Chesser of Lilburn, GA.
