Dennis Charles Morgan passed away at age 77 on December 14, 2024, in Simi Valley, California.
He is survived by his children Erin, James, and Derek from his late wife Lydia; partner Peggy Johnson; and grandchildren Luke, Caleb, Cormac, and Conrad.
Beginning as a doo wop singer on the Jersey shore, he would later go on to be a top executive for record label giants, such as Universal Music Group, MCA, Warner Brothers Records, Rocket Record Company, and Dark Horse Records. His career provided him with the opportunity to collaborate with artists such as Elton John, George Harrison, The Who, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
In retirement, Dennis volunteered his musical talents to support his partner Peggy’s elementary school productions. His recent work focused on writing, recording, and producing songs for his band, Oslo Snowe.
With his effortless humor and seemingly endless trove of stories, Dennis was loved and admired by all who knew him. His family and partner will forever cherish his memory.
The memorial service will be at Forest Lawn - Hollywood Hills on February 10th.
The family requests donations to the Save The Music Foundation in lieu of flowers.
