Debra Price

September 14, 1966 — January 25, 2022

Debra Mandy Esther Price was many things, a devoted wife, a supportive daughter, and a loving mother. She was vibrant and incessantly optimistic. She brought light and happiness to anything she did, along with a ferocious determination. In her lifetime she was an actress in two countries, her home country of England, and her adopted country of the United States. She enjoyed travel and adventure in many different states and countries, or even just an afternoon riding on the back of a motorcycle. She was often known as “The Dragon Lady” due to her extensive collection of Dragon figurines and her ferociously joyful attitude towards life. Many of her friends and family members described her as Strong, Independent, Ambitious, Willful at times, Kind, Caring, “A second Mother”, and forever Joyful. Her laugh and smile would light up a room. In her work life she was often known as the answer to anyone’s prayers, as an office administrator she would run companies like battleships acting as the mother hen of the office. In her later years she built her own company from scratch, and continued the trend of always being the answer to someone’s administrative prayers.
As a wife she was supportive and understanding. She always had time to talk and make sure there were no issues. She was independent and yet always had time for fun adventures with her husband.
As a mother she was loving, nurturing, and stern when she needed to be. She always had sage wisdom, or silly jokes to make her children smile. It was often said that as a good Jewish mother the first words out of her mouth when you came home were “Have you eaten?” In her lifetime she was known for symbolically adopting many of her children’s friends and helping them learn the life lessons or just be there to offer a big hug when they needed one.
As a friend she was a sister to many and a confidant to countless others. She was described by her friends as honest and real. She would always tell you the truth. She would give you the shirt off her back and the meal from her mouth if you needed it. She was loyal, fun, spontaneous, and just as happy sitting in a recliner talking about old memories or shopping and going on adventures. She was always up for anything, and would try everything once. She was always comfortable in her skin, and knew exactly who she was.
She is survived by her Husband, Son, Daughter, and Grandchildren.
We invite all friends and family to come to the service. However, several vulnerable and elderly family members will be attending so if you are not vaccinated, or are not comfortable following current county mask mandates we ask that you watch the livestream from the comfort of your own home.
