Daniel Garma ‘Danny Boy’ was born on July 18,1925 in San Bartolome, Mayantoc, Tarlac, Philippines. He is the son of Rufino Garma and Bernarda Corpuz. At the age of 95 he was preceded in death by his wife Nieves Garma, and survived by his Children, Dr Manolo and wife Dr Feliza Garma and Charito and husband Benjamin Rabina , his grandchildren Dr. Benedict Daniel and wife Sharon Garma, Cherrie Lynn and husband Grant Ohta, Mades and husband Vincent Cruz, Maves and husband Voltaire Vindua, Greatgrand children Donovan, Avery and Gavin. He was the third child; had two sisters Eusebia and Leocadia, and 4 brothers, Lorenzo, Felipe, Mariano, and Celedonio.
He served as a teacher and leader with a Masters Degree in Education. He helped established an Elementary School as a principal and elevated himself through his education. Consequently he was promoted as a Superintendent in Santa Ignacia ,Tarlac Philippines. He built the English and Agricultural Program in Tarlac University in the Philippines. He was a great achiever.
He was very loving husband, father,
grandfather, and great provider. He was loved by his siblings, relatives, and friends. He was known DANNY BOY, known to have a jolly personality, archivist in writing, and photography, provided his passion of education and agriculture as his love and care to everyone in his life. He will live in our hearts and memories forever. He’s gone but his legacy will never be forgotten.
