Connie Lorraine Morgan, a vibrant spirit whose laughter could light up any room, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2024 in Simi Valley, California, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 12 1946, in Los Angeles, Connie's journey through life was marked by both dedication and joy, leaving an indelible impact on all who had the privilege to know her.
Connie graduated from San Fernando High School in 1964, embarking on a career that showcased her natural leadership and warmth. Connie brought her expertise to Sutters Mill, serving as manager for eight fruitful years. For 23 years, she skillfully supervised workers' compensation claims at Farmers Insurance, where her keen sense for detail and genuine care for others earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.
A true people person, Connie was known for her engaging conversations and infectious humor that could brighten anyone's day. She was not just a manager or a supervisor; she was a friend to many. Her warmth, kindness, and supportive nature were felt deeply by family and friends alike.
Connie's passions were wide-ranging and filled her life with joy. She was a devoted fan of Dodgers Baseball and cherished the many moments spent in the magic of Disneyland. Hawaii held a special place in her heart, as did her love for animals, reflecting her compassionate nature.
Connie is survived by her beloved son, Rob Morgan, and daughter-in-law, Terry Morgan. She was a proud grandmother to Katie and Nick Morgan, who brought her immense joy and laughter. Her sister, Cindy Hancock, and brother-in-law, Mike Hancock, will also miss her deeply, along with her best friend, Connie Ritch, and her wonderful neighbors, Frank and Linda Capuano.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Arnold Morgan, who she cherished deeply. Their bond remains a testament to the love she embodied.
A funeral service to honor Connie's life will take place on November 26, 2024, at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Simi Valley at 10:00 AM, a gathering of friends and family to celebrate a life well-lived and the beautiful memories that will perpetually shine in our hearts.
As we reflect on Connie's life, let us carry forward her legacy of kindness, laughter, and the love for those around us. She will be missed profoundly but remembered fondly as a remarkable woman who touched the lives of so many.
