March 2, 1971 — June 17, 2024

Simi Valley

Christine Diane Reynolds, born on March 2, 1971, in Simi Valley, California, passed away at the age of 53 in her hometown on June 17, 2024. Christine, a lifelong resident of Simi Valley, graduated from Royal High School before earning her degree from California State University Northridge. She dedicated over 17 years of her career to MVAP Medical Supplies in Newberry Park as a Customer Service Representative.

Christine was a beacon of joy and kindness, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her love for her pets, including her dogs Jax and Jagger, and her cat Jessie, was profound. She found happiness in simple pleasures like crafting with needlepoint and latch hook, reading, solving puzzles, and attending concerts. Christine cherished the outdoors, whether it was hiking, camping, or just relaxing at the beach. Evenings around the fire pit with a glass of wine and a cigar were special moments she treasured.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Tom Reynolds, who describes her as his rock, soulmate, and forever angel. Christine also leaves behind her sisters, Elke Schmacker and Connie Dunn; her cousin, Ronnie Jansen; and nephews, Ryan and Kyle Dunn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Werner and Renate Schmacker; her brother, Ricky Schmacker; and her cousin, Sue Flandez.

A service to celebrate Christine's life will be held on July 20th at 1:00 PM at 2543 Fitzgerald Road, Simi Valley, CA 93065. Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
