Chris was born in Edina, Minnesota, which is the source of his love for the Vikings football team. When he was around five years-old, his family moved to California and he then started to appreciate the Lakers basketball team. His two favorite colors became purple and yellow, which represented his favorite sports teams, and he even donned a purple suit for formal occasions.
Chris was our teddy bear with his sweet smile and generous heart. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He had tremendous love for his family and was a dedicated husband and father. Early in his life, he would work two jobs at one time to support his family.
In December of 2020, he was hospitalized at Simi Valley Hospital for congested heart failure. When he came home, our hearts ached when we saw him struggling with breathing. His health started to deteriorate as days went by and on the early morning of April 2, 2021, Chris went home to God. God must love him very much because He brought him home on Good Friday. Chris is now holding his grandma's hand and enjoying his new peaceful life. We love and miss you terribly, Chris! Rest in peace.
