Bruce Fish

Bruce Michael Fish 72, of Simi Valley , California passed away on March 28th, 2022 after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his loving family. Bruce was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 25th, 1949 to Wiley and Thelma Fish. In 1967 Bruce graduated from Greenwood High School in Greenwood, Indiana. Shortly after graduating he met Carol Ann Garbe in 1968 in Greenwood were they both lived. They chose each other forever and were married in August of 1969. They shared a beautiful, loving exceptional 52 year marriage.
Bruce's career consisted of Heating & Air Conditioning. After moving to California in 1970 he continued in this industry until he took a job with Hughes Aircraft Corporation in Electronic Engineering. Bruce and his wife Carol also owned and operated FISH CERAMICS STUDIO in Simi Valley, California for over 30 years, having retired in 2016.
Bruce enjoyed collecting Antique Keys and Locks of all sorts and kind and his collection grew through the many years..
He also loved to fish whenever possible. Bruce also enjoyed the many cross country road trips with Carol and family stopping along the way to visit many places of interest. Another enjoyable time was cruising on ships to different ports in the world. Bruce also enjoyed the occasional trips to the casinos to play his favorite video poker machines.
He also enjoyed doing things around the house and according to his wife Carol could fix or repair just about anything when needed.
His favorite past time after retirement was playing Gin Rummy at the kitchen counter with his son Keith while watching all his favorite westerns and we do mean ALL! His love of pizza prompted a 50 year wedding anniversary gift of an outdoor pizza oven that he enjoyed immensely.
He is survived by his wife Carol Ann Fish; sons, Robert and Keith Fish of Simi Valley; Grandson, Tyler Fish of Northridge, California; Brother-in-law, James Garbe of Simi Valley; and Sister-in-law, Mary Hornback of Arizona and many nieces and nephews.
Bruce was proceeded in death by his loving parents; Wiley & Thelma Fish; and sister, Sue Miller all of Indiana.
