Brian William Hardt
October 19th 1957 – November 26th 2021
On Friday, November 26th, 2021, Brian William Hardt, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at the age of 64. Brian was born on October 19th, 1957, in Burbank, CA to Bill and Elaine (Trevelyn) Hardt. He received his Associate’s Degree from Pierce College in 1977. He was a machinist in the motion picture industry for over 40 years, being employed by both Universal Studios and Disney. On July 17th, 1982, he married Susan Lynn Burkett. They raised three daughters Sabrina, Ali and Megan.
Brian had a passion for fishing and loved to hunt. When he was not out at sea or spending time outdoors, he could be found in the kitchen, where he made numerous memorable dishes. He will be remembered for being quite the practical joker and looking to make others laugh and never being able to turn down a good prank. Brian was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind, compassionate spirit.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, Bill, and his mother, Elaine. He is survived by his step mother Shirley, his three children, Sabrina, Ali and Megan, his sister Barbara, his niece Kelly, his seven grandchildren, Taylor, Tristyn, Cyrus, Haven, Roman, Ezrah and Luke, and cousins Carol and Ram.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 22nd , 2022 at Reardon Funeral Home in Simi Valley at 11:30 a.m. Donations may be sent to Wounded Heroes Hunting Camp
