Brenda Rayburn, was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Brenda was born in Bournemouth, England, and her life was one of love and dedication to her family and others.
Brenda was a devoted wife to her husband Russell, whom she met
in 1951, and they were married in 1953. Together, they raised five wonderful
children: Suella, Russell II, Francis, Joseph, and Kevin. Brenda was a
homemaker who dedicated her life to providing a loving and supportive home for
her family. Her children were the center of her world, and she did everything
she could to ensure that they were happy and well taken care of.
In the early 1970s, Brenda decided to pursue a career in medical
assistance and earned a certificate in the field. She worked at Kaiser Hospital
for over 12 years, where she was known for her compassion and dedication to her
patients.
Brenda was also a talented seamstress and knitter, skills she
developed as a child and continued to hone throughout her life. She was always
creating beautiful and intricate pieces that she generously shared with her
loved ones.
Most of all, Brenda was a devoted and generous grandmother to
her nine grandchildren: Jonathan, Sara, Alec, Daniel, Jillian, Alexander,
Molly, Katherine, and Samuel. She also loved her great grandchildren Cooper,
Remington and Elliot.
A funeral mass will be held February 24 10:00AM at St. Rose of Lima Church in Simi Valley.
