Bonnie Cowan

Bonnie Cowan, 91, passed away at her home in Simi Valley on July 29, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband, James Cowan, was a career Marine and after being transferred from California to Texas and New Jersey, they made Simi their permanent home.
An avid bowler, Bonnie made many lifelong friends at Simi Bowl, loved camping with the couples in the RV Club, and couldn't wait to start planning her next cruise or travel to Europe and beyond. Bonnie is predeceased by her husband, James, and her brothers Everett and Phil. She will be remembered as a truly loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Bonnie is survived by her son, James, two daughters, Linda and Jennie, and grandchildren, Mark, Frank, Shannon, Patrick, Leanna, Daniel, Megan, Gretchen, and Trevor. Also, her seven great-grandchildren, Dylan, Hailey, Aaron, Hunter, Garrett, Amelia, and Auriella. The Cowan Family sends a heartfelt thank you to all the caregivers who helped us get through this very difficult time. A graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery, Chatsworth CA, to be announced.
