Bob Crawford

Our dad fought the fight of his life for 7 years and he fought to the end. On December 31, 2015 his fight ended while he was surrounded by his family in a home full of love. He will be forever missed.
Bob was born on December 17, 1951 to parents Ed and Jean Crawford. He grew up in Reseda California and moved to Simi Valley in the 70’s with his wife Connie, to raise their 3 children. He worked in the grocery industry for 45 years. He enjoyed playing golf, water skiing, wine tasting, camping, traveling and being with his family. Bob is survived by his children Christi (Dave) Raftery, Shannon Mactague, Jason(Dawn) Crawford ; 7 grandchildren, Kalee, Rayanna, Luke, Bryn, Tyler, Jameson and Austin; sister, Carla Galloway, ex-wife Connie Crawford and significant other of 20 years, Ginger DiRuscio and many other family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 at Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home. Per Bobs request casual Tommy Bahama style dress is encouraged. Following the service, friends and family are invited back to the home of Dave and Christi to continue Bob’s celebration.
