Barbara Burrows was born on Feb 16, 1950 in Boston, MA to Joe and Margaret LeBlanc. She was the youngest of the family with an older brother, Joe LeBlanc Jr. In 1953, the family relocated to Santa Monica, CA. They moved to Canoga Park, CA in 1960. It was there she met David Burrows in 1966. Dave and Barbara were married on November 30, 1968. The newlyweds settled in Canoga Park then moved to Los Angeles in early 1969. They welcomed their first son, John in September 1969 and their youngest son James completed the family in January 1971. They moved to Simi Valley in 1972 and settled in their current residence on Barnes St in 1977. Barbara spent her time raising her sons, gardening, and camping with their friends.
In the late 1980's Barbara began working as an office manager at Family Healthcare and remained there until 2001 when she became the office manager for Dr. Vinod Gupta where she worked until her retirement in 2013.
Barbara enjoyed retirement and spent her time with her family as well as going camping, gardening, and going on cruises with Dave. She was also known to enjoy changing around the furniture in the house and shopping on QVC.
Barbara passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2020. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Burrows, her sons, John and James, daughters in law Jennifer and Wendy, brother Joe LeBlanc Jr, her 5 grandchildren Kalyn, Jacob, Cameron, Sean, and Joshua as well as her great granddaughter Emily. Barbara was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and will forever be missed.
