Alex Joseph Haddad, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on May 20, 2024 in California after bravely battling cancer. He was born on October 26, 1952, in Caribou, Maine.
Alex's professional journey was marked by dedication and hard work. His career began at Bob’s Big Boy, where he spent 22 years before retiring from Fed Ex after a remarkable 25-year tenure. Colleagues described him as the best helping supervisor and his loyalty shone through in all his endeavors.
Beyond his work life, Alex was a man of many facets. Known for his kind and welcoming nature, he had a great sense of humor that made everyone around him feel at ease. His gullible, yet endearing personality, endeared him to all who knew him. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and would give the shirt off his back to those in need.
One of Alex's greatest joys in life was spending time with his family. He cherished every moment with them and made sure to express his love regularly by saying "I love you." His proudest accomplishments revolved around his family whom he held dear to his heart.
In his leisure time, Alex was a die-hard Detroit fan and loved traveling with his devoted wife. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sporting events, showing unwavering support for them just as he did for everyone in his life.
Alex is survived by his loving wife Bettina Haddad; son Joey Haddad and daughter-in-law Veronica Haddad; daughter Christina Humphreys and son-in-law Douglas Humphreys; daughter Jessica Garcia and son-in-law Paul Garcia; grandsons Lucas Haddad, Casey Haddad, Camden Humphreys, and Dominic Garcia; granddaughters Jocelyn Humphreys and Mia Garcia; brothers Edward Haddad and family , Herb Haddad and family , George Haddad and family. He is preceded in death by his father Alex Haddad; mother Victoria Haddad; brothers Albert Haddad and Norman Haddad; father-in-law Antonio Lubrano; and mother-in-law Ida Lubrano.
Alex Joseph Haddad will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
